How the Monarch adoption program works.

Register here to become a Butterfly Guardian. For an adoption fee of only $28 you will recieve a whole kit full of fun facts & best of all a monarch pupae!

When you register, your pick up time will be sent to you. (it will be in September) you will need to come to beautiful Sedona,

The whole point of the adoption program is to keep your butterfly safe from predators for a couple of days until it is ready to fly. Their most vulnerable time is when they are newly emerged and unaccustomed to flight. It takes a little practice.As a guardian, you will be given instructions on how to feed your butterfly (they drink nectar like the hummingbirds) and how & when is the best time to release it as well as a
whole lot of other interesting facts. Many have found this experience to be a memorable one cherished for a lifetime, and often want to experience the joy of witnessing a butterfly birth & helping a struggling species over and over!

To date I have helped over 1,400 monarchs into the world through the adoption program and the assistance of folks just like you. It's fun, it's
easy & educational and you just may find yourself having a magical experience as so many others have.

So what exactly does your $28 Monarch adoption fee include?

• 1 Monarch chrysalis suspended inside a glass "hatchery" complete with hanging branch & soft landing pad.
• 1 booklet written by The Butterfly Lady with care instructions & loads of fun butterfly facts.
• 1 pinch of milkweed seeds to plant in your garden (food for Monarch caterpillars).
• 1 Official Monarch Butterfly Guardian sticker to show the world YOU helped.
• 1 season pass to come & visit the rest of the flock at the Butterfly Lady's Butterfly House in Sedona, AZ. You may come as often as you like & linger as long as you wish as an Official Sponsor & Butterfly Guardian. These passes are only available to guardians as a very special THANK YOU for supporting me on my quest.
